Privacy Policy

Kodeway, Inc. (“Kodeway”, “we”, “us”) is a software company based in Texas, United States. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit kodeway.com, contact us, or apply for a role.

Our products — BeyondClaim, BeOnField and oMotorcycle — are separate services with their own privacy policies published on their own sites and inside the apps. Where you use one of those products, the product’s policy applies to that use.

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run this site:

• Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect your first and last name, email address, the topic you choose, and anything you write in the message. If you send us a résumé or portfolio, we keep the details it contains.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use these to keep the site secure and available.

This site does not set tracking cookies, does not run advertising pixels, and does not use third-party analytics. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

• To answer your enquiry, arrange a pilot or partnership, or consider your application.
• To keep the site secure, diagnose problems and prevent abuse.
• To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and in running a secure website, on your consent where you have given it, and on our need to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (for example, discussing a pilot or a role).

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the site and deliver email, such as our hosting and email-delivery providers. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where necessary.
• Authorities where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Kodeway, our users or the public.
• A successor if Kodeway is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

Some images on this site are loaded from third-party services, and the site links to our product sites and to LinkedIn. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. When you follow a link to another site, that site’s policy applies.

We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, typically no more than 24 months. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months after the role closes unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short rolling window.

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to messages you send us is limited to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; residents of the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@kodeway.com. We will respond within the time required by law and will not treat you differently for making a request.

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and handled in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed. If a change is significant we will make that clear on this page.
